Road To Freedom

I've had enough of these political analysts talking all this talk in jest.

They tell me left is wrong the middle class is gone I reckon right is all that's really left.

They make their money, they take my time sometimes I think the even take my health.
While the people, these people keep talking about, govern our lives with lies in stealth.

So it's a long hard winding road to freedom. Obstacles in the way.

And if you ever reach the end of that road boy. Appreciate every new day.

Then you might raise a family and if everything turns out alright,

you might find yourself with a couple of grand kids running through your yard day and night.

And they'll be singing-La la la la la la la la la la la la

I know a mountain of hope full of animals, plants children women and men.

And say a couple of angels looking down from a cloud we got another chance to try it gain.

So I found a love with a dog and a cat, five grand children and one on the way.
And you best believe we say grace in the morning, in the evening bow our heads and pray.
Because it's a long hard winding road to freedom. Obstacles in the way.

And if you ever reach the end of that road boy. Appreciate every new day.

Like it was your very last one get out there man have yourself some fun.

Forget about the papers and the news today, turn your heart to the golden song. And you'll be singing-La la la la la la la la la la la la
